Terms of Agreement:
1. Assumption of Risk The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Yakima Sunfair Parade 2025 involves certain risks, including but not limited to injury to persons or property. The Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation in the parade.
2. Release of Liability The Participant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Yakima Sunfair Parade Committee, its officers, agents, volunteers, employees, and other parade participants from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation in the event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or any other loss or harm, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Indemnification The Participant agrees to indemnify and defend the Yakima Sunfair Parade
Committee, its officers, agents, volunteers, employees, and other parade participants against any and all claims, actions, or lawsuits brought by any third party due to or arising out of the Participant's actions during the parade, including but not limited to claims of personal injury or property damage.
4. Compliance with Parade Rules The Participant agrees to comply with all parade rules and instructions provided by the Yakima Sunfair Parade Committee. The Participant understands that failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the event and/or removal from the parade route.
5. Medical Authorization In the event of an injury or emergency, the Participant authorizes the Yakima Sunfair Parade Committee to seek and obtain appropriate medical care for the Participant.
6. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.
7. Severability If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
